ZENIT

What is Zenit by ALVIC?

  • “Zenit” is a line of panels and surfaces offered by ALVIC. It features a super-matt lacquered surface with a silky touch, anti-fingerprint finish, and high resistance.
  • It is designed for both vertical and horizontal applications, particularly with the newer Zenit 3.0 generation which improves durability and expands possible uses.

Specifications:

  • Finish Type: Super-matte lacquered surface, with velvet or silky touch.
  • Anti-Fingerprint: The surface is treated to resist fingerprints.
  • Scratch Resistance: High resistance to scratching. In 3.0 version, rated up to approximately 5 newtons under relevant standards. 
  • Abrasion Resistance: Improved resistance to wear; in some Zenit models/horizons up to many cycles.
  • Colour Stability: Designed to maintain colour under light exposure; stable over time.
  • Light Reflection:  Low reflection (i.e. very matte). Microscopic surface structure helps minimize gloss/reflection.  
  • Stain Resistance & Cleaning: Resistant to food stains; easy cleaning surface.
  • Antibacterial Treatment: Some versions include this protective treatment.
  •  Repair of Micro-Scratches: The surface can recover minor superficial scratches in some cases. 
  • Environmental / Ecological Features: 100% ecological lacquer in many versions. Zenit Eco uses ~70% recycled material in the board.

Typical Construction:

  • Base: MDF or particle board, in many cases certified and meeting formaldehyde emission standards.
  • Decorative paper (or melamine paper) impregnated with resins/additives, pressed on the board.
  • Front face: lacquered with super-matte lacquer that is dried using UV curing.

Applications:

  • Kitchen fronts, cabinetry, wardrobes.
  • Furniture doors, wardrobes, closets.
  • Interior design / decoration where matte / soft-touch finishes are desired.
  • Environments where low maintenance and finger-print resistance are valued (e.g., kitchens, bathrooms, commercial interiors).
